Raised in Dallas Texas, Darbe’s life was positively influenced by a forward thinking and entrepreneurial mom who encouraged her to be actively involved with charities and helping those in need. Darbe began her career in advertising and communications with Daniels Publishing Company and was the top producer within her first year.  After graduating from the University of Texas, Darbe was hired as a spokesperson for the Coors Brewing Company; including Nascar, and Supercross.  Her highlights too were sports broadcasting with TNN and ESPN.

Darbe married in 1996 and moved to Malibu, California. She began working alongside her husband in their growing infomercial DRTV Company where successfully they sold over 12 million units worldwide of the SmartMop, OrangeGlo and OxyClean brands.

Darbe and John have 4 very young boys.  Darbe’s charity efforts over the last 13 years has been focused around her 11-year-old son who has high functioning Autism.  Her charities include Autism Speaks, National Autism Association, Malibu Special Education Foundation, Learning Through Doing Adventures, just to name a few. Darbe has also been on the Board of Malibu AYSO and the VIP (Very Important Players) AYSO program, which provides quality soccer experience for children and adults who have physical or mental disabilities.

Other charities of Darbe’s focus education, environment and global issues, such as Heal The Bay, NRDC, Pennies For Peace, Surf Rider Foundation and Music for Relief.   It is a way of life for Darbe and her family.  She feels the most fulfilling job as a Mom is to her raise boys to become compassionate men that are giving to others and to our planet.

Darbe joined ShopToEarth in 2009.  She is very honored to be part of the STE Foundation. As her Mom always said, “With your gift of Gab you will use that to make a difference somehow and some way!”  Darbe clearly walks the talk!
